Action (karma): astringent, antibiotic, adaptogen, antiviral, styptic, tonic, diuretic, digestive, sedative, antioxidant, antiseptic.
Dose: infuse 1 teaspoon of herb per cup of boiled water for 5 minutes taken 3 times a day. For sore throats, gargle a strong infusion of herb robert tea.
Contraindictions: it is recommended that any person on blood thinning medication be carefully monitored by their health card provider.

 

Herb robert is a supreme therapeutic herb, an excellent enhancer of the immune system. It carries oxygen to the cells, is a vigorous adaptogen, and one of the most powerful free-radical scavengers found in nature. Herb robert contains ellagic acid. Recent research has found that ellagic acid may slow growth of some tumors caused by certain carcinogens and has been used to fight and prevent cancer.
