Saw palmetto is an effective herb for prostate enlargement symptoms. Such symptoms can be severe with frequent desire but inability to urinate, painful throbbing, burning urination, inflammation, impotence and broken sleep at night with the prostate pressing on the urethra. Untreated prostate problems can develop into cancer.
It has also helped underweight people to gain weight, and has been used to help increase the size of small breasts. It acts as a regulator of weight and hormones.
